Today I will be commencing training in preparation for running a half-marathon in December of 2010. My current weight is 319.2 pounds. I will start out using the Couch To 5K approach. At least one of my sons will be training with me. My brother Doug will be training for it as well, as will his middle daughter I believe. I will be posting here as I complete my workouts.
I will also be counting my calories using the Spark People website, and will be posting my counts here.
Pray for me, as this is a monumental task. Of course, with God, all things are possible.

You can do it! I'll be praying for you. And I'd love to know what the "Couch to 5k" approach is. I've been trying to get more exercise in myself... there's a track at the local park, and I try to do 13 laps, which is 5k. But I don't get out there often enough.
